About Me…

When I was a kid the thing I remember doing the most was drawing. I think growing up with a stutter made me choose to tell stories with pictures instead of talking, and I haven’t changed much since.

Drawing became painting, and while in high school I read Vincent Van Gogh's biography and his story captured my imagination like nothing before. He saw beauty in everything, had a story full of adventures and his paintings made me fall in love with color.

I went to college with the idea of becoming a graphic designer, but midway through I took a photography class... and that was it for me. Sometimes you just know, and I knew that photography was going to be my thing.

(I also realized that whenever something cool is happening they always invite the guy with the camera, so there was my incentive to be good!)

I have a distinctive personal style--very colorful images, dynamic compositions and the occasional visual joke-- but I don't have a favorite subject. I like nature, people, learning new things, visiting new places, and being surprised by what’s in front of me.

I'm based in Dallas but I don't hesitate to jump on a plane or start driving if I get the chance, so if you think that me and my camera can do something for you, let me know!
